COMPANY BACKGROUNDLeading global financial services company providing Investment Banking and Asset Management services worldwide, is seeking a well-versed Business Analyst with strong analytical mindset, to join their Legal and Compliance technology team that based in Hong Kong.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Work with Legal and Compliance business team to understand technology requirements and be the subject matter expert in the fields
- Formulate business and data requirements; participate in business analysis and requirements gathering
- Provide technical guidance and escalation point for production support issues as needed
- Act as a technical lead and mentor other members within the team
- Enforce business standards & best technology practices.
- Ensure alignment of technical architecture specifications to business requirements
- Partner with global (New York/London) counterparts from both business and IT
- A university graduate with degree in Finance, Business Management
- Strong working experience on business analysis and requirements gathering is mandatory
- Legal and Compliance experience within a financial industry preferable
Hands-on skills in data analysis in RDBMS development will be advantageous - Good experience of managing clients and onshore/offshore resources is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Certification with FRM, CPA is nice to have
- Must be able to communicate well with front to back office users
